Hope There Isn’t A Hurricane Race
The St. Lucie Sailing Club has been invited to participate in the Ft. Pierce Yacht Club’s Hope There Isn’t A Hurricane Race. This could be a great sailing weekend and for us to do some serious ocean sailing.
Attached are Sailing Instructions and Course Diagrams for the 2019 “Hope There Isn’t A Hurricane Race” to be held 18 August 2019 in the usual Offshore Fort Pierce Racing Area. Start will be at 1200 HRS with a time check at 1145 HRS and a countdown beginning at 1145 HRS. Start signal will be a single horn blast. Please participate in the Skippers’ Meeting at 1945 HRS Friday evening at the FPYC Clubhouse outside porch. All skippers and crew are urged to attend to discuss “probable“ courses wind/weather projections, need for crew or persons desiring to crew.
