SLSC Fleet Handicap System:

The St. Lucie Sailing Club (SLSC) uses the Performance Handicap Racing Fleet (PHRF) system to assign handicaps to its racing boats.

Striving to "level the playing field", this system consistently applies a set of well-defined and quantified Adjustments to a boat's Base PHRF Rating using specific performance effecting attributes of the boat being rated.

Currently SLSC outsources PHRF generation to the Melbourne Yacht Club. For more specific information on the fleet's handicaps, how to acquire one or how they are constructed, visit the PHRF Handicaps page.
