SLSC Handicap System:

The St. Lucie Sailing Club (SLSC) uses the Performance Handicap Racing Fleet (PHRF) system to assign handicaps to its racing boats. 

Striving to "level the playing field", this system consistently applies a set of well-defined and quantified Adjustments to a boat's Base PHRF Rating using specific performance effecting attributes of the boat being rated.
