Our program this month features a video of the Race To Alaska, a 700 plus mile race up the inside passage from Victoria BC to Ketchikan Alaska. One of the most unique sailing races imaginable. Vessels must have no engines and be totally self-sufficient. This course covers some of the most scenic (and challenging) waters on the planet, with tidal currents of up to 15 knots in some places. Makes for some exciting sailing. We'll also have the latest SLSC cruising, racing, and social news and events.
